Apollo's Foray into the Hearts of Women

Apollo Hospitals are supporting the cause of Women’s Heart Health by setting up 100 chest pain clinics dedicated solely to women and their healthcare needs. These clinics will be spread across the country. //

During a press conference, Prathap Reddy, chairman, Apollo Hospitals, spoke of Apollo’s plan to set up chest pain clinics across the country. Apollo Centre of Excellence for Women (ACE), as it is called, will comprise of the chest clinic, and will be the first clinic to be open 24hrs. Ambulance service will also be available.

Prathap Reddy said, “The Centre of Excellence for Women has been established to cater to various age groups of women and we will have the total scanning and detection procedures for all disorders of women.” The main focus of these centres will be early detection of diseases, and ailments like anemia, breast and cervical cancer, heart disease, glaucoma, migraine, depression, and breast disorders. The centre will also house a skin clinic, so it’s a complete solution under one roof!
