Anorexia Linked To Genes

According to a research conducted in a few cities of America and Europe, anorexia nervosa is said to be associated// with genes.

This study was conducted for almost ten years and concluded that people are more prone to anorexia if there is a history of the same disorder running in the family.

Dr. Craig Johnson, the lead researcher of this study and also the director of Laureate Psychiatric Hospital in Tulsa divulges that environment and genetics play a key role in this eating disorder.

Anorexia nervosa generally affects young women with the risk pointer indicating towards the age group between 11 and 14. People suffering from this disease have a dislike for food and have a distorted body disposition.
