( India's leading private sector educatio...)Amity Institutions To Launch Short-term Professional Courses In Oman,Health

India's leading private sector educational group Amity Institutions have decided to launch short-term professional courses in Oman as part of its plans to set up academic and training infrastructure in the Gulf countries//. This is being undertaken by them in an effort to expand the educational facilities in the Gulf.

Aseem K Chauhan, the Additional President, and board member of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, which is the umbrella organisation of the Amity Institutions, said that they are seeking to boost the current trend of ‘Omanisation’ that is developing at work place across the countries. He further stated that though Indian teachers and trainers would be initially recruited, they plan to eventually employ people from Oman.

The Amity group is also considering opportunities to explore other places in the Gulf to set up educational and training institutions. Currently the group has around 62 educational institutions in India including schools in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Manesar, Jaipur and Lucknow and they offer a further 130 higher educational programmes to over 35,000 students across the country.
