Alcohol Agency Probe If Lohan was Served Alcohol Before Car Crash

The agency that controls alcoholic beverages in California has got in touch with the Beverly Hills Police Department to find out whether an underage Lindsay Lohan was served alcohol before a weekend car crash.

California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control investigators also want to know if Lohan or others were served after hours, agency spokesman John Carr said.

Videos show Lohan leaving Hollywood's Les Deux club at 3:30 am, an hour-and-a-half after closing time.

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control told the Beverly Hills Police Department that it wants to assess witness reports and other evidence to decide if a formal investigation is warranted.

Lohan was arrested and cited for driving under the influence after crashing her luxury car in Beverly Hills on May 26.

The cops recovered 'a usable amount of cocaine' in her car, after an accident in which the actress was slightly injured.
