A Woman Dies Due to Breast Cancer After Being Cleared in the Breast Scan

A woman, who was given an ‘all clear’ report after a breast scan, has died due to the disease. This has raised many eyebrows in the medical community and caused outrage among// patients. Apparently, the radiologist had misinterpreted the results of the breast scan.

Consultant radiologist Amjad Husien, who was held responsible for this mistake, has been suspended and is going through a General Medical Council Investigation.

Following this, nearly 2500 mammograms are being reviewed at the Trafford General Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital, in Greater Manchester.

A report regarding this scandal was published by the NHS North West and Report author Professor Mark Baker has pointed a finger at Mr. Husien, while also blaming the existing weaknesses in the systems at Trafford NHS Trust".
