A Wedding Gift That Helps Save Lives

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute wants to be part of your wedding celebration. The world-renowned research and care center in Boston// is now offering party favors that will help save lives of cancer patients. Couples getting married are encouraged to honor their guests by making a donation to Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund. Dana-Farber treats both children and adults, and is home to some of the most innovative cancer researchers.

A package of 10 table cards, gift cards, or scrolls costs $30. The following message will be inscribed:

A gift has been made in your honor to the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The scrolls can be customized. For an additional gift of your choice, Dana-Farber will send a Microsoft Word template with the message above and a space for guests’ names or a personal greeting. Printing can then be done on any paper from a home or office.

"Guests will be touched you have chosen to make a gift in their honor and delighted it will support the most advanced cancer research and patient care programs available," says Megan Brooks, Special Occasion Favors program coordinator.

"Brides and grooms tell us our favors have helped make their wedding unique,” adds Brooks. “Some couples have had a personal experience at Dana-Farber and the favors become a great opportunity to give back and say thank you."
