A ‘Brave’ Toddler-The Youngest Organ Donr

Four generations of his family served in the Indian Army and battled the country’s enemies from across the border. His father being a Sena Medal winner// and with ‘Showrya’ meaning ‘brave’ for a name, it appeared that the baby boy was destined to tread the family path.

Dr Sahariah is all praise for Showrya’s family. "Medical miracles happen, but what the boy's parents did is unparalleled,” he eulogized.

Retired Colonel S S Malik, Showrya’s grandfather said, "My son has killed militants. He wanted his son to be a hero as well, and so decided to donate the organs. We assumed the organs will go to another child, but no matter, my gra
