A recent survey organized by women’s magazine, Grazia reported the interest of women to undergo cosmetic surgery. // The survey results reported that an overwhelming half of the interviewed women is interested to undergo cosmetic surgery. The result of the survey was reported in Daily mail.

The study was conducted in 1,000 women in the average age group of 34 years, residing in England, Scotland and Wales. The results of the survey reported that almost 54% of the women interviewed accepted that they will undergo cosmetic surgery, and 11% of them were already undergoing pre-operative cosmetic procedures like nose shaping, lip pop-ups and breast enlargement. These women are aged between 25 to 45 years of age and wanted to change the way they look, as they are not happy with the way they look.

The study revealed that 64% of the women has said that these procedures would change they way look and will increase their confidence, 42% of the women feel that these surgery will make them look younger and 13% of the women wanted to look more attractive to men!

Though, women are interested towards cosmetic surgery, still they fear surgery as reported in the survey conduced by Cosmetic surgery survey of Great Britain, which revealed that only 4% of women did not have any fear of surgery, and the remaining women feared about the adverse effects of surgery. The main concern of these women towards surgery was fear of getting scaring and infection.

"In the last decade or so, having cosmetic surgery has become as normal as having your hair done and there's no shame in doing it any more. Times have changed since the only option for saggy breasts was to buy a better bra," Grazia's editor Jane Bruton said.
