,,Socializing is good for your heart,,,,

Socially isolated men may have increased levels of blood marker for inflammation that can //lead to cardiac diseases.

Researchers from Harvard School of Public Health say that it may be good for the health of the heart for men to be socially connected. A well-connected man will have a close family, a good group of friends, and a well-established connection to the immediate society like the workplace, or the neighbors, or a religious organization.

Researchers have found out the presence of blood concentrations of four inflammatory markers like interleukin-6 (IL-6). The people who have the loneliest social standings are found to have higher concentrations of IL-6, the difference between the social standings lead to significant difference in the levels of IL-6 amongst the people.

There were no significant difference in concentrations of blood markers were seen for women and their social standings.

There had been results of research that had showed that inflammation might lead to atherosclerosis. White blood cells, in this condition, slide to the side of the blood vessels. This makes it easy for the lipids to be deposited on the blood vessels easily, causing atherosclerosis
