Yoga Sandals(R) Footwear Steps up with Donations for Women's Health

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Beech Sandal Company declares its commitment to raising awareness and funding for education, research and treatment for women's health issues by donating its popular, health-oriented Yoga Sandals(R) footwear and a portion of the company's sales to support a number of worthy causes.

Yoga Sandals(R), "A Better Flip Flop", according to Prevention Magazine, recently appeared with an all-star cast of products and services supporting breast cancer research at the 2009 "Think Pink" Emmy Awards Style Lounge where guests were treated to live music, a variety of spa services and luxurious gifts including a pair of Pink Evolution Yoga Sandals(R), courtesy of Beech. Proceeds from this exclusive event for Emmy nominees, presenters, stylists and media will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Tiger Lily Foundation.

Yoga Sandals(R) also made an appearance at National Yoga Month's Global Mala Celebration in Los Angeles, benefiting Autism Speaks and the Yoga Health Foundation, a non profit organization that offers health education programs to schools, introducing the holistic benefits of yoga to youth. The free event will honor donations with complimentary gift bags including fitness DVDs, natural foods and a pair of Yoga Sandals(R) footwear by Beech.
