FLORENCE, S.C., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Doctors Care is pleased to announce the opening of its first healthcare center in the Pee Dee, located at 2410 Hoffmeyer Road, Florence. The new center opened January 23, 2008. A second center at 2200 South Irby Street is scheduled to open soon.
Dr. Thomas Gibbons, the Midlands and Pee Dee Regional Medical Director for Doctors Care said, "Doctors Care is excited to provide convenient urgent care, family care and occupational medicine, with or without an appointment to the Florence community. The new Hoffmeyer Center features include a trauma room, x-ray equipment and an on-site lab, as well as equipment for breath alcohol testing and drug screenings."
The staff includes board-certified physician, Dr. Johnny Trogdon, from Darlington, SC. Trogdon practiced at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Pee Dee Family Practice, Conway Medical Center and Carolinas Hospital System prior to joining the Doctors Care Hoffmeyer Center.
