Snoring Isn't Sexy® announces the launch of an anonymous, confidential survey to determine the extent of drowsy Truck Drivers, Bus Drivers, Commuter Train Operators, Airline Pilots, Railroad Engineers, Heavy Machinery Operators and Ship Captains.

New York, NY (Vocus) June 22, 2009 -- Snoring Isn't Sexy® announces the launch of an anonymous, confidential survey to determine the extent of drowsy Truck Drivers, Bus Drivers, Commuter Train Operators, Airline Pilots, Railroad Engineers, Heavy Machinery Operators and Ship Captains. This survey, part of a research project in process by Snoring Isn't Sexy, LLC, asks visitors to identify their professions (Truck Drivers, Bus Drivers, Commuter Train Operators, Airline Pilots, Railroad Engineers, Heavy Machinery Operators and Ship Captains) and then take the Epworth Daytime Sleepiness Scale. The results will be published at the completion of the survey period.

The Epworth Sleepiness Scale has been validated for use in screening for obstructive sleep apnea. (Johns MW (1991). "A new method for measuring daytime sleepiness: the Epworth sleepiness scale". Sleep 14 (6): 540-5)
