Scleroderma Foundation Holds Gateway to Hope 2009 National Patient Education Conference in St. ...(nd About the Gateway to Hop...),Health

nd Murali Chakinala, M.D., will be presenting at the Conference. Dr. Brasington, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology will participate in the "Stem Cell Transplantation Panel" and lead a workshop on clinical trials, helping patients understand the clinical trial process and whether it is right for them. Dr. Chakinala, Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine will be presenting a grand lecture on pulmonary arterial hypertension as well as a workshop on lung transplantation.

Heather Hawk, a national health and fitness correspondent for television and radio and host of the Charter Network's "Smart Living" television program, will present a workshop on juvenile fitness for young scleroderma patients and their families.
