Round Table Family Charities Raises $350,000 for Children's Mirac...(xtended family to make thisa success fro...),Health

The charity event is much more than an exercise in corporate philanthropy. In fact, for several Round Table Pizza employees, it's personal. Round Table Family Charities was established after an employee's grandson underwent a successful heart surgery at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland. A conversation about the surgery with McCourt, whose daughter was also treated there, spurned the idea for a charity. Shortly after, Round Table Family Charities was born and Round Table Pizza's corporate employees and restaurant managers were given two paid days off to volunteer in their communities.
