WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- To gain an insider's perspective on senior living communities, 43-year-old Steve Gurney, the founder and publisher of the Guide to Retirement Living SourceBook, will become a temporary resident of The Residences of Thomas Circle, a downtown Washington, D.C. retirement community. Gurney selected The Residences of Thomas Circle for its "unique, urban location." He explains that most retirement communities are in suburban environments. "Living in an urban setting, you can easily walk to a bookstore or nearby restaurant. This type of environment allows for greater freedom and independence," says Gurney.
"The Residences have always promoted intergenerational opportunities and we are delighted to welcome Steve into our community," says Elliot Roth, executive director of The Residences at Thomas Circle. "Like o
