Mennen Medical Launches the VitaLogik 6000, a Pre-Configured Multi-Parameter Patient Monitor with New High Performance Wireless Technology

The VitaLogikTM 6000 is a pre-configured multi-parameter Patient Monitor with a 15" flat screen display, supported by an internal battery for uninterrupted vital signs' monitoring. An integrated wireless local area network solution has been developed specifically for the VitaLogikTM 6000, utilizing Mennen Medical's new propriety internal wireless card and based on the IEEE Compliance Standards 802.11b/g. The wireless network option for VitaLogikTM portable and bed side monitors extends the central station monitoring and automated vital sign collection beyond the bedside, because patient care can now be anywhere; by the bedside, in the hallway, during transportation or in auxiliary units.

The VitaLogikTM 6000 is a pre-configured multi-parameter Patient Monitor with a 15" flat screen display, supported by an internal battery for uninterrupted vital signs' monitoring. The VitaLogikTM 6000 has an extensive storage capability of Full Disclosure, Charts, Trends and Events, in addition to the saved data of up to 10 discharged patients. This innovative monitor joins Mennen Medical's monitoring solution and is predicted to be the leading member of the successful VitaLogikTM family which includes the VitaLogikTM 4000, VitaLogikTM 5000 and the Enguardview Workstation (Central Nurse Station & Remote Monitor).

The VitaLogikTM 6000 uses Mennen Medical's proprietary developed CIPAM Technology. The CIPAM (Configurable Isolated Physiological Acquisition Module) is Mennen's front end board, which features multiple acquisition units for measuring various physiological parameters and was recently recognized by Frost & Sullivan with &qu
