Dedicated Conference Track to Explore Market Opportunities Around mHealth
Washington, DC (Vocus) February 11, 2010 -- The mHealth Alliance today announced that it and the GSM Association will deliver a day-long conference program on the use of wireless networks to support health delivery (mHealth) at the 2010 GSMA Mobile World Congress. A series of high-level presentations and seminar panels under the banner “mHealth – Collaborating for Universal Care: An mHealth Insight Developed with the mHealth Alliance” will take place on Thursday, February 18, 2010, exploring the rapidly growing ecosystem at the intersection of the healthcare and mobile worlds.
“mHealth is a new frontier for the mobile industry and we are excited to be working with the mHealth Alliance to establish a dialogue around the opportunities and challenges for participants across the entire healthcare value chain,” said Michael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer at the GSMA. “This dedicated day-long track on mHealth at the Mobile World Congress should be particularly insightful. We expect it to lead to new ideas, new conversations, and ultimately, new ways of doing business.”
