Lotus Pharmaceuticals Announces Conference Call to Discuss Second Quarter 2008 Results

BEIJING, Aug. 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lotus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LTUS) ("Lotus" or the "Company"), a pharmaceutical company in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"), today announced that it will conduct a conference call at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, August 18, 2008 to discuss results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.

Joining Dr. Zhongyi Liu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Pharmaceuticals, will be Mr. Adam Wasserman, Chief Financial Officer.
