Jeff Korte Named as SIU Director, Litigation Solutions, LLC

LONGWOOD, Fla., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jeff Korte, former Major with the Florida Division of Insurance Fraud (DIF), has been named the Director of the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) for Litigation Solutions, LLC.

Mr. Korte brings more than 28 years of law enforcement experience to Litigation Solutions, spending the past 20 years with the Florida Division of Insurance Fraud (DIF) where he retired as Major/Bureau Chief in 2008.

During his tenure at DIF, Mr. Korte managed approximately 55 DIF law enforcement detectives and supervisors. He worked and managed complex insurance fraud cases to include claimant fraud, premium fraud, clinic fraud, medical provider fraud, auto liability and staged accidents. In addition, Mr. Korte worked very closely with the Florida State Legislature and numerous State Attorney's offices to draft law updates, recommend stiffer criminal penalties and facilitate an overall advancement of insurance fraud regulations.

As SIU Director, Mr. Korte will guide, manage and direct the Litigation Solutions SIU Department. National investigative services include SIU Programming, State Compliance & Reporting, Contract SIU Services, Mock Audits, Claim Investigations, Anti-Fraud Training (CEU) and Premium Fraud Investigations. These services are currently being provided for property casualty carriers, TPA's and large employers.
