iconpractice Brings Cloud Computing Benefits to Chiropractic Practice Management Software

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) September 30, 2013

Clear Health Media today announced the launch of its cloud based practice management software, iconpractice, designed specifically for chiropractic clinics. iconpractice offers the convenient anywhere access of internet based clinic software, while providing the stability and full functionality that would be expected from a traditional desktop application.

Many businesses are finding that moving their software applications to the cloud makes sound business sense. Web based applications typically charge a monthly service fee for use rather than a large upfront purchase cost, and the service fee is usually less than the ongoing support charges of traditional software.

Dr Holmes from Clear Health Media commented, "By using iconpractice, chiropractors can typically save between $2,000 and $10,000 in upfront costs, and still have full email support, automatic upgrades and backups for just a small monthly fee. They can then use that money for other important things like marketing their practice or just taking a holiday!"

Unlike many of its competitors, iconpractice was built by a chiropractor for the chiropractic market. This means it provides features that chiropractors need, and that will streamline their practice.

Dr Holmes remarked "iconpractice has been designed to maximise staff efficiency, by minimising the time that Chiropractic Assistants need to spend entering transactions and making appointments This means they can spend more time interacting with patients and building the practice."

When building and running a practice, it is important to keep track of the clinic’s vital metrics so performance can be tracked. iconpractice comes with a built in clinic dashboard to allow users to see in one glance how it is performing.

Figures tracked include gross revenue, outstanding balances, patient visit average, and lifetime value of a client for the clinic as a whole as well as for different referral sources so the effectiveness of marketing campaigns can be tracked.

As well as the normal diary, accounting and clinical record functions that chiropractic practice management systems provide, iconpractice contains a number of automated systems and reports to ensure that cancellations and no shows are tracked and can be followed up effectively. Dr Holmes commented, "This is vital for the health of your business and for optimal patient outcomes."

Chiropractic clinics wanting to see what iconpractice can do for their practice can go to and sign up for a free 14 day trial. With the quick start wizard they can be up and running in under 10 minutes. Full pricing and plan details are available on the website.
