(PRWEB) January 26, 2010 -- iVina, Inc., a leading innovator of document imaging solutions, announced today that it has launched three new document scanners with rated speeds up to 60 images per minute (ipm) at 300 dots per inch (dpi). These three new scanners are offered in addition to iVina’s BulletScan™ S300. The BulletScan S300 features a fully-functional, USB-powered duplex mobile scanner which transforms into a desktop duplex color scanner when placed into its automatic document feeder (ADF) docking station. The BulletScan S300 list price is $349. The BulletScan product line now spans the mobile, desktop, workgroup and departmental market segments.

All models include BulletScan Manager Software and are powered by ABBYY FineReader® Technology for unmatched accuracy in optical character recognition. The BulletScan Manager provides everything needed to control the scanning process, file formats, and scan-to-destinations. BulletScan Manager Software offers both easy and advanced scan mode settings and includes such features as auto-straighten, auto-crop, auto-rotate, and edge clean-up among other image processing functions.

The four document scanners include a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty upon product registration. The BulletScan product line offers large companies, small businesses, home office workers, and mobile professionals unparalleled price-performance solutions with double the product warranty of most other scanner companies.

“Document scanner companies have been complacent in driving price, performance and innovation during these challenging economic times,” said Murray L. Dennis, president and CEO of iVina. “As a result, software has been driving the demand for value and innovation as Microsoft® SharePoint® and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings lower implementation costs. In addition to providing faster, more accurate document scanning solutions, iVina’s 2-year product warranty, twice that of most other scanner companies, demonstrates our product quality and reliability is second to none.”

The BulletScan S400 is a duplex color sheetfed scanner rated at 20 pages per minute (ppm) in simplex mode and 40 images per minute (ipm) in duplex mode at 300 dpi in color or black and white. It has a 50-page capacity ADF which can scan business cards, receipts, photos and documents up to legal-size. The BulletScan S400 has 9 customizable “scan-to” button settings, a small footprint and a list price of $449.

The BulletScan F200 is a simplex color flatbed scanner rated at 20 ppm at 200 dpi black and white, or color. It has a 50-page capacity ADF which can scan business cards, receipts, photos and documents up to legal-size, as well as an 8.5” x 11” flatbed for scanning books, magazines, and other bound materials. The BulletScan F200 also has up to 9 customizable “scan-to” settings, and a list price of $399.99.

The BulletScan F600 has a list price of $1495.

The ABBYY FineReader technology, reduces the size of the resulting PDF without loss of visual quality, and retains text-under-image, text-over-image, text and pictures, or image-only PDFs. The Fine Reader technology also recognizes multilingual documents and can automatically detect English, French, Italian, German and Spanish documents.
