iHealthSpot, Inc Named Winner in the 2009 STEVIE' AWARDS (American Business Awards)

iHealthSpot, Inc was named a winner in the 2009 American Business Awards in the Interactive Multimedia category for its Orthopedic Patient Education Library.

Margate, FL (PRWEB) June 25, 2009 -- The STEVIE's (American Business Awards) are the nation's premier business awards program, recognizing the best of American business. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. were eligible to submit entries to the ABAs - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company, Best Management Team, Best New Product or Service, Best Interactive Multimedia, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best Corporate and Environmental Responsibility Program. iHealthspot was honored with the prestigious award in the "Interactive Multimedia" category for its "Interactive Orthopedic Patient Education Library". http://meddb.eznetpublish.ihealthspot.com/VideoDemos

Of the entries submitted, approximately 1/3 had scores high enough to make the finals and fewer still were among the winners. iHealthSpot shared the stage with companies such as Microsoft Corporation, E*Trade Financial, YouSendIt, Inc., and OnStar.

iHealthSpot's winning interactive library includes more than 350 written conditions, 200 illustrations and 75 videos with detailed 3D animations for orthopedics, pain management and physical therapy, displayed with an intuitive male or female "clickable body" interface. The videos are 3-4 minutes in length and include detailed visual information on causes, symptoms, surgical and non-surgical treatments and rehabilitation for each condition in
