hCGTreatments / Diet Doc hCG Diets & Weight Loss Plans Announces Uncomplicated New Diet Plans for Men to Aid in Preventing Certain Cancers Due to Excess Weight
Date:6/12/2013

Houston, TX (PRWEB) June 12, 2013

Cancer of the prostate is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in men. The American Cancer Society reported 28,000 deaths in 2012 from prostate cancer in the United States and estimate that over 238,000 new cases will be detected this year. One of the first studies to assess the association between obesity and precancerous abnormalities found that overweight men are more likely to have precancerous lesions detected in a benign prostate biopsy and are at a greater risk for developing prostate cancer. NBC News recently reported on the connection between obesity and its correlation to prostate cancer. According to Dr. Andrew Rundle at Columbia University School of Public Health in NY City, "It is absolutely clear that obesity increases a man’s risk of dying from prostate cancer”. Also noted in the study is that the accuracy of a biopsy can be affected or even fail to detect pre-cancerous lesions in men that are obese and have a larger prostate.

With prostate cancer on the rise, it is essential that American men become more diligent in recognizing the role that obesity plays in detecting this deadly cancer. Fast weight loss is no longer a mere cosmetic concern, but, more importantly, it is about improving longevity, as well as quality of life and avoiding countless weight related diseases and cancers.

Diet Doc announced that their prescription hCG diet plans for men are now available nationwide as part of a new healthcare initiative known as Telehealth, making medically supervised weight loss accessible to all American men. Wit
