Diet Doc’s hCG diet plan has been proven to be a lot more effective and affordable when compared to stomach Botox injections. As an alternative, stomach Botox (short for Botulinum toxin) injections containing this neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum were developed. Commonly used in cosmetic treatments to smooth out facial wrinkles by paralyzing the muscles that cause them to form, this is one of the most poisonous substances in the world, but is used by specialists in very small amounts to stop muscle spasms, which can help people with certain pain disorders and twitching. However, researchers say that Botox injected into the stomach does not help with fast weight loss at all. According to a study published in the journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, researchers recruited 60 obese patients in a trial to compare the effects of gastric Botox injections against a placebo. Neither the physicians nor the patients knew which subjects received gastric antral injections of Botulinum toxin A (BTA) and which received the placebo. After 24 weeks, those who were given the Botox injections showed no edge in weight loss. The study concluded that
