While Tsangs advice of making small changes at spaced increments is great advice for those who are generally healthy, the majority of Americans are in need of faster and more effective weight loss in order to avoid weight related health risks. This cavalier approach to dieting is not what the majority of overweight Americans need for fast weight loss and a return to a healthy weight and lifestyle. According to the Center for Disease Control, 34% of Americans are considered obese. For this ever increasing demographic, a no-diet weight loss diet will not produce the much-needed fast weight loss, needed for obese Americans facing a much greater risk of developing health problems like diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and cancer.
