gMed Unveils Cloud-Based gGastro Suite to Help Practices Implement EHR
Date:5/14/2013

Weston, FL (PRWEB) May 14, 2013

In its quest to provide exceptional quality and support for gastroenterology practices of all sizes, gMed has introduced a cloud-based version of gGastro Suite, the only gastro-specific, fully integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform currently on the market. This new cloud-based version gives practices a simple, less-costly solution to a traditional client-server system.

Since cloud-based EHR requires no software licenses and limited hardware installation, the cost of implementation is a fraction of that for a traditional licensed solution. Like the popular server-based gGastro Suite, the new solution is secure, HIPAA compliant and easily scalable to accommodate new doctors and locations. Updates are automatically provided via the cloud, and access is available through a secure login from any computer with an Internet connection. This new offering enables a practice to utilize all of the modules of gGastro Suite, including Electronic Heath Records, Electronic Report Writer, Practice Management, and the gMed Patient Portal.

According to Joe Rubinsztain, MD and CEO of gMed, “We continue to develop specialty-specific solutions for practices of all sizes. Our new cloud-based gGastro Suite gives practices an affordable option to utilize the industries leading gastroenterology platform while focusing on their patients and improved outcomes.”

The new cloud-based product will be unveiled at one of the nation’s premier gastroenterology trade shows, Digestive Disease Week at the Orlando Convention Center, May 19 though May 21, 2013, at booth #1307. It will also be on display during SGNA at the Austin Convention Center from May 19 through May 21 at booth #110.
