NEW YORK, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, February 12, 2008, The James E. Marshall OCD Foundation, which benefits genetic research and awareness for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, will honor E. Scott Beattie, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Elizabeth Arden, Inc. and Charles H. Townsend, President and CEO of Conde Nast Publications, at the fourth annual Beyond Beauty dinner. The event to be held at the Union League in New York City, will feature Soledad O'Brien, anchor and special correspondent for CNN, as master of ceremonies, and will include a special performance by singer Andrea Marcovicci.

Founded in 2003 by the family of its namesake, The James E. Marshall OCD Foundation funds genetic research and aims to increase awareness of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a disease that affects one in four children and countless adults worldwide. Frequently misunderstood and financially under-funded, the costs of OCD exceed those of heart disease, cancer and diabetes combined. Funds raised by the Beyond Beauty dinner will go to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and will be allocated by Dr. Gerald Nestadt, head of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
