Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute Completes House-Wide Implementation of the LifeSync(R) Wireless ECG System
Date:6/2/2009

ked the impact the disposable LeadWear(R) sets used with the LifeSync(R) System had on infections. While the Cardiovascular Institute currently experiences infection rates substantially below the national average, the Florida Hospital researchers from the Center for Nursing Research & Innovation found a meaningful incremental reduction in infection incidence with the use of the LifeSync(R) System.

"The use of the LifeSync(R) System and its disposable LeadWear(R) sets shows our commitment to providing a positive patient experience," says Dr. Kevin Accola, Florida Hospital cardiovascular surgeon. "We want each patient with a chest incision to know that they are important to us, important enough to have their own set of lead wires."

Shelley Hartman, President of LifeSync Corporation, said, "Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute is ranked as one of the top hospitals in the nation for patient enrollment in cardiovascular research studies. The multi-disciplinary team cares for more than 70,000 cardiac-related visits annually -- treating more heart and vascular patients than any other hospital in the nation. LifeSync Corporation is proud to be partnered with this prestigious institution on patient safety and hospital productivity."
