emerginC Extends Its ‘Help your Skin, Heal Your Planet’ Tree Planting Commitment
Date:1/31/2013

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) January 31, 2013

In a renewed commitment to healing the planet, emerginC now plants an indigenous tree in a non-harvest location, via their partners at Plant-It-2020, for every retail item sold from both their classic signature range and their Scientific Organics range, greatly expanding their existing tree-planting initiatives.

Ian Lirenman, C.E.O. of emerginC, a cutting-edge, result-oriented, cosmeceutical line sold in top spas worldwide, says “I am hands-down most proud of our commitment to the tree-planting initiative, which we started in 2010. We created an industry landmark by making our “buy one, plant one” tree-planting program a permanent feature of our Scientific Organics range and we are now extending this to our entire retail range”.

This initiative sits alongside many other programs emerginC runs to help reduce their environmental impact. Their product boxes and brochures are made from paper from sustainably managed forests, their shopping bags from biodegradable "stone" paper. Their office is run on 100% wind power and approximately 80% of their products are now manufactured using wind power. They are proud signer of safecosmetics.org and offset their carbon footprint via carbonfund.org.

emerginC has also run numerous charity promotions for renowned charities like the World Wildlife Fund, Operation Smile a charity that provides surgeries to repair facial deformities, Charity:Water, as well as numerous others.

“Basically, we are always looking at ways to reduce our impact and also give back. We don't want to be a company that is only taking” says Ian.

emerginC products are sold at top spa’s and salons nationally. For stockest information contact Inskincosmedics on 02 9712 8188 or visit http://www.inskincosmedics.com
