eCube Announces 2010 NXTware Remote Product Roadmap

New capabilities empower IT organizations to use unified cross-functional teams to maintain and create applications on all of their software and hardware platforms -- both new and old -- using Eclipse and NXTware Remote.

(PRWEB) December 16, 2009 -- Today, eCube Systems announced a detailed 2010 product roadmap for NXTware Remote, its Eclipse-based cross-platform Remote Development Environment (RDE). The roadmap outlines major releases and product enhancements scheduled through the first quarter of 2011. The plan also includes new releases of NXTware Remote for OpenVMS, NXTware Remote for UNIX/ Linux, NXTware Remote for Windows Server and NXTware Remote for Mac OS Server.

A highlight of the roadmap is the addition of a new customization framework in the underlying NXTware Remote platform that will simplify the integration of custom development tools and libraries to enhance the development process. This framework enables NXTware Remote users to initiate, manage and communicate with any custom tool or utility on supported remote development platforms.

These features enhance NXTware Remote's core cross-platform development capabilities, allowing IT organizations to field development teams that are productive on legacy and contemporary platforms. "NXTware Remote breaks down development silos based on specific platform skills and experience," says Peter Marquez, Sr. Partner eCube Systems. "Now, using NXTware Remote and Eclipse, teams can be productive in multiple software development environments from one IDE."
