Introducing earthbalance®, the long-awaited range of low toxicity paints from Crown. For over a century and a half, the Crown brand has been pioneering paints and new production techniques. Now, Crown are thrilled to unveil their latest exciting concept - earthbalance®.

According to Crown, it's been created for conscientious, eco-minded customers who are looking for paint that with low environmental impact, that still offers outstanding colour, ease of use and value for money.

earthbalance® is not the only green innovation to leave Crown's laboratory recently. For those that hate unpleasant paint smells, Crown's Breatheasy® formulation is a paint range that is 99% solvent free, so can be used without fear of the that Paint stink can end up filling the whole house. (earthbalance® itself has 22% lower carbon content than average.)*    

Conscious of its environmental impact at every level of the production process, earthbalance® is manufactured in the UK, helping to further lower the carbon footprint. Even the packaging is 56% recycled steel, 100% of which can be completely recycled.    

The the Pure Paint Colour® Sample used for earthbalance® are printed using 100% recyclable FSC paper too, and the colour card supporting the range is created using 100% recycled paper to ensure every detail is considered.
