More than 14,000 pharmacies nationwide use benefit eligibility service

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- eRx Network, LLC, a leading provider of electronic transaction services to the retail pharmacy industry, has announced widespread customer adoption of its pharmacy benefit eligibility solution, eRx CardFinder. The exclusive service, which was launched in 2006, is now utilized by more than 14,000 pharmacies nationwide.

"We place high significance on our ability to continually deliver innovative solutions to our retail pharmacy customers," said Murray Lyle, eRx Network's president and chief operating officer. "As with all our services, eRx CardFinder is designed with our customers' profitability, efficiency and accuracy in mind."

eRx CardFinder allows pharmacy users to immediately determine eligibility for patients whose pharmacy benefit coverage is unknown at the time of processing. The transaction-based service provides real-time commercial coverage information for more than 220 million covered lives, as well as Medicare coverage information for patients 65 years of age or older.

Customers currently using the pharmacy benefit eligibility solution range from independently owned single store pharmacies to national pharmacy chains.
