Vero Beach, FL (PRWEB) July 23, 2009 -- Online health and wellness leader eMindful is launching live, interactive yoga classes. As a special promotion eMindful is offering unlimited classes for the month of August for seventy-five dollars. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who has a yoga practice, or has wanted to explore the health benefits of yoga, to participate at a fraction of normal pricing.

Kelley McCabe Ruff, founder and CEO of eMindful, explains why yoga has been added to the company's online health curriculum, "Yoga incorporates a combination of practices that create flexibility for mind and body. Health benefits related to stress reduction, physical strength, flexibility and weight management are well proven. These classes complement the other online classes offered by eMindful."

The daily, live yoga classes are held every morning 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. These are all-level, interactive classes which offer an opportunity to ask questions and get personalized instruction. Every class is put into an online archive which lets participants replay any class to meet their own schedule. There are several unique advantages to online yoga. First, participants get to take yoga classes from nationally renowned teachers located across the United States. Second, re-playable archives provide a method for students to take (or retake) a yoga class any time of day. People who spend much of their day at a computer can use the classes to stretch.

The 60-minute classes presented by certified instructors include clear instruction in breathing technique, warm-up and posture flow and relaxation. New yoga students will develop body awareness, posture alignment and core strength in basic poses, while experienced students will be encouraged to explore advanced variations in familiar postures. The last ten minutes of class will be open to student/teacher interaction, question and answer and feedback via eMindful's online classroom chat feature. A yoga relaxation class helps students enter into a state of deep relaxation for natural healing.

The benefits of a regular yoga practice include increased strength, flexibility, balance and stamina; improved circulation, digestion, respiration and regulation of blood pressure; relief from insomnia, chronic tension and stress; and a strengthened immune system. Yoga also promotes mental clarity, concentration and focus. Individuals and health care professionals from around the world have attended eMindful's suite of health and wellness classes which include stress reduction, chronic pain management and mindful eating.
