- Portable USB Device Will Expedite Emergency Responders' Treatment of Trauma Victims -

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- eMed-ID, the world's first medical identification franchise providing consumers with a personal USB device that will expedite emergency responders treatment of trauma victims or those unable to communicate, is rapidly expanding its national footprint with today's announcement that the Tampa Bay market is now open for franchise sales. Qualified franchisees can purchase the home-based franchise for a total investment of less than $10,000.

eMed-ID offers immediate access to confidential medical information that helps consumers avoid life-threatening delays in treatment, medical or surgical complications, allergic reactions and medication errors. The portable USB device, utilizing eMed-ID's proprietary software, comes in a variety of options, including wristband, credit card style and keychain.

To date, eMed-ID has already signed five franchisees, in the Tampa Bay area, as well as the first area developer, Scott Flesch. Area Director opportunities are available starting at $29,950 for a minimum protected territory of 200,000 people. The Tampa Bay area currently has over 300 franchise and 12 additional area developer opportunities available in the market.

After more than fifteen years in the technology sale's industry, where he developed sales & marketing channels for Silicon Valley startup companies, Scott Flesch decided to leave the corporate world for the world of franchising.
