eDiets.com(R) Appoints New Chief Information Officer Laura Klein

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- eDiets.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: DIET), leveraging the power of technology to bring diet, fitness and healthy lifestyle solutions to everyone, has appointed Laura Klein as the Company's Chief Information Officer effective immediately. Bringing over 8 years of senior business experience to eDiets.com , Ms. Klein served as the CIO and VP of IT at Sheridan Healthcare Inc., as well as holding significant technological roles at Elencee LLC, Green2Go.com and Sun Microsystems.

At eDiets, Ms. Klein will be responsible for the company's technology strategy and operations. Reporting to her will be database, quality assurance, infrastructure and development functions. Ms. Klein will report directly to eDiets CEO and President, Steve Rattner.

Prior to joining eDiets.com, Ms. Klein served as the Chief Information Officer, VP of IT and Security Officer at Sheridan Healthcare Inc., a leading outsourcing provider of healthcare services for hospitals and medical facilities. Between 2001 and 2002, she was President of Elencee LLC, a marketing and website development company located in Fort Lauderdale. In this capacity, Ms. Klein developed new marketing strategies for Sheridan Healthcare, while managing both the web development and marketing teams. Prior to her role as President at Elencee LLC, Ms. Klein was a Software Trainer for Sheridan
