Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) March 12, 2010 – damaka, a technology pioneer in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), announces the launch of its live streaming video solution on laptops and mobile devices. This feature is offered on Android and Blackberry ® devices.

With this feature release, Damaka Mobile UCC solution augments its current feature offerings of highly secure and encrypted live Peer-to-Peer video calling on Smartphones and laptops.

“Consider a real life scenario where in a paramedic is attending to a patient in critical condition. The paramedic can now transmit vital signs and live video of the patient’s physical conditions in real-time securely over WiFi / 3G/ 4G network to a doctor who is on standby at the hospital,” stated Dr. Prakash Ranka, Medical Advisor to Damaka. “Damaka’s technology significantly enhances a physician’s ability to proactively plan for the patient care during the ‘golden hour’ of the patient’s trauma. This solution has direct implication in many different specialties of healthcare industry – ER, OB-GYN etc.”

Damaka’s secure live video streaming solution can be extended to other verticals (besides Healthcare), such as Government, Department of Transportation (traffic management), Fire & Safety department, Distant Learning etc.

damaka UCC solution is available in both Managed Peer-to-Peer (P2P) and traditional SIP
