Chopra Center Co-Founder and Best-Selling Author David Simon, M.D., Will Lead Two Special Events in New York City This June

This spring in the center of the universe, Dr. David Simon will teach stressed New Yorkers how to heal anxiety and experience greater physical health and emotional well-being.

New York City, NY (PRWEB) June 18, 2009 -- Renowned mind-body physician and co-founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, David Simon, M.D., is coming to New York City this June with the launch of his newest book - "Free to Love, Free to Heal: Heal Your Body by Healing Your Emotions" - and a weekend workshop on meditation, yoga, and the ancient healing system known as Ayurveda.

This June 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pure Yoga on the Upper East Side, Dr. Simon will host a discussion of his long-awaited book, "Free to Love, Free to Heal" (release date: June 25). Drawing upon the Eastern healing arts and modern science, the long-awaited book is a practical guide that shows readers how to release the life-damaging beliefs and painful memories that contribute to stress and anxiety, addictive behaviors, chronic pain, depression, obesity, chronic fatigue, heart disease, and many other health problems. During the evening event, Dr. Simon will also sign books, discuss the the connection between emotional well-being and physical health, and answer questions from the audience.

Then on June 27-28, Dr. Simon will lead "Living Consciously through Meditation, Ayurveda & Yoga" - a weekend workshop held in the tranquil setting of Pure Yoga. "For the past ten years, we have repeatedly seen patients and guests at '/>"/>
