NEW YORK, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Turner Construction Company, the nation's largest builder of healthcare facilities, has been selected to manage a $42.5 million construction project at Children's Hospital Central California in Madera, Calif.

The scope of work includes a 59,531 sq. ft. addition to and a 17,306 sq. ft. renovation of the hospital. The addition will include the expansion of the emergency and trauma departments, four operating suites, imaging department expansion, outdoor helipad and support space. Completion is scheduled for January 2012.
