WESTPORT, Conn., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Fairfield County residents will have the opportunity to witness a special, one night only holiday event tomorrow as they celebrate the traditional lighting of the Saugatuck River Bridge at dusk. Those who purchase tickets to the event, in advance or at the door, will enjoy cuisine and drink from some of the areas finest restaurants. They will also have the chance to participate in a silent auction that includes items up for bid from local restaurants as well as original paintings, vacation homes, and more -- all for a wonderful cause!

Event Details:

  • When: Wednesday, July 8 from 6:00 pm ET - 9:00 pm ET
  • Where: Saugatuck Rowing Club, Westport, CT
  • Ticket price: $75.00 per person - Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door
  • Sponsorship Opportunities are also available

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Al's Angels, a grass-roots organization founded by Internet marketing entrepreneur Al DiGuido to help families and children challenged by cancer, rare blood diseases, AIDS and domestic violence. The mission of Al's Angels is to send a clear signal that the children suffering from these diseases are not alone and that there is now hope because they are joined by a legion of Angels ready to fight for them. It is because of this that the Saugatuck River Bridge will be known that night as the "Bridge of Hope" and the lighting will stand as a beacon for those in need.

For DiGuido, the work of Al's Angels is just another chapter in a career marked by success. Long recognized as one of the direct response industry's premier innovators and a pioneer in email communications, he is currently the CEO of Zeta Interactive, a leading digital marketing agency.
