Zip-a-de-do-da! Venice Beach will be Flying Soon
Date:7/15/2013

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 15, 2013

While the plan for Flightlinez Venice Beach may have been to open the first week of July everyone knows construction never goes as planned. The final materials arrived at the end of last week. Towers have been completed and now the stairs and decks are being installed.

Employees had their first all staff meeting last week. Flightlinez Opening Team has been working with their new local crew to ensure all safety procedures are understood, respected and followed. The ticket office now has signage and is located just south of Windward on Ocean Front Walk. Tickets will be sold on a daily basis, no reservations will be taken for future dates. Tickets must be purchased prior to entering the take off tower line.

Local artists are on standby, ready to join Flightlinez and Venice Beach to finish their works of art on site for the public and community to enjoy. Once the lines are strung frames will be erected around the k-rails and huge art boards will display the locals' work. Some of the artists have finished their pieces already which will give passersby a chance to enjoy the process and some completed pieces while on site.

Soaring Heights has started their performance classes at the Oakwood Recreation Center. Soaring Heights is a mentorship program focused on Dance, Aerial and Theater. Students are showcasing their work for the community creating a gracious opportunity for not only the students to share their efforts but for the community to unite. A performance will be held August 10 for the community to enjoy. For more information on the classes being offered, visit their website at flightlinezvenicebeach.
