New functional imaging applications for the Ziostation System will be unveiled at the RSNA annual meeting

(PRWEB) November 17, 2009 -- Ziosoft®, Inc. a leader in advanced visualization and analysis software for medical imaging will feature its next generation of workflow enhancements and new clinical functionality for the Ziostation® system during the 95th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) at Booth #8353 (North Hall).

The Ziostation system is based on a highly scalable, true thin-client architecture that requires no proprietary or specialized hardware components. The advanced workflow optimization tools include a customizable user interface, configurable user workflows and anatomy-specific automatic segmentation using Ziosoft's proven, intelligent algorithms.

New 3D and 4D applications* that will be previewed include:

 
  • MR applications: brain perfusion, cardiac perfusion and delayed enhancement analysis
  • SPECT/CT fusion analysis
  • 4D CT brain perfusion analysis
  • Integrated Medicsight™ computer-aided detection for the colon

*Currently pending regulatory clearance in the US.

Also featured at RSNA will be Ziosoft's full suite of FDA-cleared analysis applications including:
