Zinga Frozen Yogurt Expands Into Southern California in a Big Way
Date:2/1/2013

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 01, 2013

With one Grand Opening under their belts the latest Zinga Frozen Yogurt franchisees are on schedule to add many more stores to the Los Angeles area.

The newest Zinga Frozen Yogurt is located at 4114 Sepulveda Blvd. in the new Culver Crossroads Center in Culver City at the intersection of Sepulveda and Washington Boulevards. Other tenants slated to open at Culver Crossroads include Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle, Pei Wei, Chase Bank, and Blaze Pizza. The store is the first to be opened by franchisees Mike Cochran and Rick Swisher. The two are veterans of Domino’s Pizza in Southern California and bring a combined more than 50 years of restaurant experience to the fast growing frozen yogurt concept in the U.S.

“Entrepreneurs are always looking for the next great opportunity and we found that opportunity with Zinga Frozen Yogurt,” said Cochran. “We were impressed first, by self-serve fresh healthful frozen yogurt with dozens of toppings. Customers serve themselves to create the exact combination of frozen yogurt and toppings that they desire and pay by the ounce. It’s their choice, whether they want it healthful or decadent.

“We also were impressed by the business opportunity that includes attractively low start-up costs, competitive royalty and advertising fees and 24/7 support from the Zinga Franchise Group,” said Cochran.

Southern California would seem the ideal place to build a number of Zinga Frozen Yogurt stores. Frozen yogurt is a healthier alternative to ice cream and Zinga offers a variety of fat free and low calorie frozen yogurt flavors and more than 50 delicious toppings. All of Zinga’s flavors meet the National Yogurt Association’s criteria for “live and active culture yogurt.”

Frozen yogurt fans in the Los Angeles area can follow the Culver City store’s daily flavor offerings by “liking” the store’s Facebook page:
