Yumi Media Commends Gillette Stadium for Their Vegetarian Menu and High PETA Ranking
Date:12/10/2012

Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) December 10, 2012

On December 10, 2012, Yumi Medi offered comments of praise to Gillette Stadium, following a Boston Herald article by Ira Kantor regarding the stadium being named the number 2 most vegetarian-friendly stadium in the NFL.

According to the Boston Herald article, “Gillette Stadium ranks No. 2 on this year’s list of “vegetarian-friendly” NFL stadiums compiled by animal advocacy group PETA.” The article states that Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, offers vegetarian meals such as black bean burgers, mushroom burgers, veggie wraps, fruit plates, and salads.

“Pats fans have more mouth-watering vegetarian options than Tom Brady has offensive weapons,” PETA stated in the article. The article mentioned that Gillette Stadium wanted to change their menu to go along with the variety of tastes their guests have, and accommodate all food preferences.

According to James Nolan, Gillette Stadium’s senior vice president of operations, “Our research suggested that our fans were seeking more vegetarian options. They have been some of our best sellers.” The article stated that Gillette Stadium is the second best vegetarian-friendly stadium in the NFL, only behind Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Yumi Media commended Gillette Stadium for offering so many vegetarian options their vegetarian guests to choose from. “It is great to see so many vegetarian options at a stadium of a sport that has been generalized around manly meals like meat and fried foods,” says Quorn representative David Wilson. “For delicious meat-free burgers and recipes outside of the stadium, try Quorn Foods Inc.”
