Dr. Gurel has more than 20 years of healthcare and life sciences experience spanning the clinical, scientific and business sides of the industry including an extensive background in healthcare consulting. While Medical Director and VP at Sg2 -- a leading healthcare provider strategy consultancy and think tank -- Dr. Gurel was involved in consulting, content development and marketing. He was also the principal architect of the Impact of Change database -- an industry-leading healthcare utilization forecasting system. While at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Dr. Gurel worked with several Fortune 500 healthcare and life sciences clients including post-merger integration, innovation and research management, in-licensing strategy and pharmaceutical marketing restructuring projects.
