Experienced Consultant and Industry Thought Leader Joins Healthcare

SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- XRoads Solutions Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ogan Gurel, M.D. as a Managing Director with its Healthcare Management Consulting Practice. Dr. Gurel has more than 20 years of healthcare and life sciences experience spanning the clinical, scientific and business sides of the industry including an extensive background in healthcare consulting. While Medical Director and VP at Sg2 -- a leading healthcare provider strategy consultancy and think tank -- Dr. Gurel was involved in consulting, content development and marketing. He was also the principal architect of the Impact of Change database -- an industry-leading healthcare utilization forecasting system. While at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Dr. Gurel worked with several Fortune 500 healthcare and life sciences clients including post-merger integration, innovation and research management, in-licensing strategy and pharmaceutical marketing restructuring projects.

Dr. Gurel comes to XRoads as a highly regarded healthcare thought leader. He has spoken worldwide on a variety of topics including emerging healthcare technologies, corporate innovation, next-generation business models and the future of healthcare.
