XM Launches Second Annual 'XMKiDS Traveling Roadshow' National Initiative Benefiting Children's Mirac...(dshow will conclude with a free concertb...),Health

dshow will conclude with a free concert broadcast live from The Sylvan Theater on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Saturday, May 24 from 12-3 pm ET. The concert will feature some of the nation's premier recording artists for young people, including Lisa Loeb, Meredith Brooks, The Jimmies and Rhythm Child.

"XM is proud to partner with Children's Miracle Network, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club to bring the XMKiDS Traveling Road Show to kids in children's hospitals around the country," said Jon Zellner, senior vice president for music programming, XM. "This tour will create a fun, lively and interactive experience to encourage kids to help other kids within their communities. The funds we raise for Children's Miracle Network have the potential to make a positive impact on children in communities across the country. Last year, XM and Wal-Mart raised over $10 million dollars for Children's Miracle Network hospitals. This year we plan to exceed that goal and we encourage everyone in the XM Nation to buy a Miracle Balloon at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club during the month of May."
