WuXi PharmaTech Selected as One of the Top Ten Employer for New College Graduates in Pharmaceutical Industry in 2009

SHANGHAI, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- WuXi PharmaTech (Cayman) Inc. (NYSE: WX), a leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device research and development outsourcing company, with operations in China and the United States, today announced that it had been selected as one of the top ten employers in the pharmaceutical industry in China in an online survey of new college graduates by China HR, a leading recruitment website in China. WuXi PharmaTech was the only contract research organization winning this award.

The survey captures the views of 210,000 Chinese students and covers approximately 630 universities and 3,800 businesses. The winning companies were selected on the basis of career development opportunities, enterprise capabilities, culture, and salary and benefits. Now in its sixth year, the survey has become the authoritative source of the opinions of new college graduates in China.
