World's Most Advanced Foot Scanning Kiosk Made Available to Retailers by eSoles and Pressure Profile Systems, Inc.

Pressure Profile Systems, Inc. Combines Tactile and 3D Scanning with Advanced Algorithms to Deliver Custom eSoles Footbeds to Consumers

LOS ANGELES and SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Pressure Profile Systems, Inc. (PPS) together with its partner eSoles, LLC, today announced the public unveiling of the 3D TruCapture(R) Kiosk Scanning System. The free-standing, interactive system collects and analyzes information about customers' foot measurements using highly sensitive tactile and 3D scan data. It then recommends the ideal configuration of components from eSoles' new eFit(R) modular insole system to best suit the user's foot shape and type of activity. Hundreds of the kiosk systems are expected to be installed around the world into shoe retailers and sporting goods stores in 2009.

"Our vision for the eFit and kiosk system was based on technology that did not exist a couple years ago. PPS's design, engineering, and orchestration of other high-tech partners to develop and realize this breakthrough multi-dimensional system is nothing short of remarkable," said Glen Hinshaw, CEO of eSoles.

Based on sports activity information entered by the user and data collected by the scanners, the 3D TruCapture kiosk uses advanced algorithms to determine and recommend the ideal combination of eFit components from over one thousand five hundred possible permutations. The data is automatically uploaded to the Internet where users can access it from the eSoles website and a printed ticket indicates how to assemble the insole in the store. The whole process takes just a few minutes and yields results which previously could only be achieved by consulting with a trained foot specialist.
