World Congress Announces Affordable Innovations in Health Exhibit and Awards 2010 at 7th Annual World Health Care Congress, Calls for Submissions from Organizations Striving to Improve Global Health Care
Date:1/19/2010

WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The World Congress today announced it will host its "2nd Annual World Congress Affordable Innovations in Health Exhibit and Awards" program this April, in conjunction  with the 7th Annual World Health Care Congress. The exhibit features forward-thinking technologies, programs and initiatives that can provide sustainable and scalable health solutions, often to underserved populations and to give organizations  an opportunity to share their initiatives before an international audience of health care leaders and entrepreneurs.

The exhibit will promote innovations that seek to meet demands for low-cost, high-quality health care through a bottom-up understanding of unmet health needs. Successful innovations will display a culture of continuous, incremental improvement of existing services to meet needs better. Presenters are invited to bring a visually-compelling poster that explains their program in addition to any physical examples of technologies they have developed.

A judging  process will select the top submissions for awards. The award winners will be granted the opportunity to make a presentation to the World Health Care Congress.
