Birmingham, Alabama (PRWEB) May 07, 2013
The Founder and President of United Cancer Survivors of America, Inc., Patricia Lee, is always looking for ways to help others so she started the Work From Home Job Center. She started working from her computer at home with a company called LiveOps, Inc. a few years ago, as an Independent Contractor. She later went on to be an actual employee for them. From there she began to learn of many other companies offering work from home opportunities. The opportunities are for anyone from lay person to professional. All companies are located in the United States and some are very well known such as 1-800 Flowers, Apple, Amazon or even Yahoo. Ms. Lee says, "There is work for everybody of all levels of education. Many military spouses work for some of these companies because usually it is work they can continue to do even if they move."
Many of Patricia's friends and family would ask her about these work from home jobs so she decided it was best to start a web site and just refer everyone there. Many companies are posted on the site under several different categories. Jobs can range from minimum wage to six figure potential for professionals such as doctors or nurses writing articles for information sites like About.com. All the information on the Work From Home Job Center site is free. Patricia simply asks people to please consider a monetary thank you gift to her nonprofit as a donation, if they do find work for themselves. Patricia has a personal page on the site too. You can find anything from her favorite quotes to the latest information about her son's band, EveryDay But Friday (signed with FEC Development) or updates on her cousin, Jess Franklin and his band, The Brantley Gilbert Band. Information about her, as well as the nonprofit will be on that page, too.
Patricia Lee is a three time cancer survivor and 2005 American Cancer Society Life Inspiration Award Winner. She is the Founder-President of United Cancer Survivors of America, Inc. which is located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is a unique Nationwide nonprofit that provides college scholarships and additional assistance to enrich the lives of those who have survived and been affected by cancer. They are supported by individual donations, businesses, http://www.CharityAuctionBay.com, and their SOS Music Fest with returning bands such as EveryDay But Friday.
