Woodward Labs Offer Special Discounts On HandClens(R) and Gives Schools a Free 'Simple as ABC, Always Be Clean' Instruction Manual on How to Prevent Illness.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Woodward Laboratories, a leading antimicrobial skin care company and makers of HandClens(R) the only alcohol-free instant hand sanitizer that exceeds the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) effective testing standards for antiseptic hand washes, reports a tremendous spike in sales in the last 72 hours as fears of a Swine Flu epidemic increased.

"Over the last decade we've responded to SARS and the Avian Flu, and we expect sales to continue to rise as the number of Swine Flu cases spread. We're working with our local suppliers to ensure we have enough inventory. HandClens is made in the USA, and while we regret the spread of this epidemic, Woodward is prepared to do its part to help keep our nation healthy."

Alcohol-free products are safer for children because they are non-toxic, non-flammable and eliminate the risk of alcohol ingestion, as has happened in the recent past with alcohol-based sanitizers.

The company aims to help prevent the spread of Swine Flu by continuing to offer special pricing deals to schools, distributors and consumers. This includes online price discounts, free wall dispensers and a free "Simple as ABC, Always Be Clean," hand hygiene instruction manual, a comprehensive e
